Habitants
With a mix of atmospheric and dynamic melodies and soft and heavy electronic and organic beats, the music of Habitants can be best described as film music noir. A slow rollercoaster ride from bright colorful lights to uncomfortable pit dark caves. With a solid rock history, Hans and René Rutten, started Habitants in 2015 recruiting guitar player and songwriter Gema Pérez, Anne van den Hoogen, Jerome Middendorp de Bie and Mirte Heutmekers.

Tension boiling up under the surface. A balloon that’s about to burst. That’s what the new The Grand East album sounds like.
With new influences like Velvet Underground and King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, they’re bringing their sound into the present. On stage, their show is on fire as always, with a singer who sings like he’s got a voodoo priest on his heels.

JW Roy
The Dutchman has been a pro for over twenty years now. In this period, he went from writing and singing in English like he did on his debut album Round Here from 1997, to songs in his mother tongue and even in Southern dialect, to eventually get full circle singing in English again. It suits him all, but as a full-blooded Americana man the latter suits him best. JW Roy has also written several nr. 1 hit songs and is available for co-writes.
