Judy Blank at South by Southwest

After an incredible show this year at ESNS, Judy Blank received an invitation to play at the American showcase festival South By Southwest in Austin, TX. In the weeks prior to SXSW, Judy was in Nashville recording new music. On March 12, she had her first performance at Edwin’s during the New Dutch Wave night, with acts like Pip Blom and Iguana Death Cult. The entire SXSW schedule for Judy is as followed:

The past year she released her album ‘’Morning Sun’’ through Munich Records. The album was recorded by Chris Taylor in the Southern Ground Studios in Nashville. Her latest single ‘’1995’’ was added to the favorites playlist of living legend Elton John. This spring Judy will play a number of shows, followed by festival performances.

Mercy John debuts high in Euroamericana Charts

The new album by Mercy John debuted at #4 on the Euroamericana Charts. ‘Let It Go Easy’, the second album by Mercy John was released in late February through Butler Records and Music on Vinyl. The album has been very well received by fans and critics alike.


Besides the international Euroamericana Charts, Let It Go Easy debuted in the top 10 of the Mania 30. The coming months Mercy John will frequently be performing live, on radio and on tv. Volkskrant

‘’Listen to the subtly folded instrumentations, the layered vocals and the discreetly crying pedal-steel-guitars of the title track, and know that it’s all right.

Habitants expand their Dutch tour

The shoegaze band Habitants, founded by The Gathering-guitarist René Rutten, expanded their tour with two additional shows. The weekend of 26 & 27 April the band will be playing in Vlissingen and Nijmegen. The band released their well-received debut album titled ‘One Self’ in October of last year (2018).


Habitants showcases a mix of alternative, dream pop, shoegaze and dark wave. Malford Milligan makes an outstanding impression

At the end of October 2018, Malford Milligan & The Southern Aces released their album Life Will Humble You through Royal Family Records. The album was beloved among critics and ended at the top of many year-end lists, including the Euroamericana Charts and Rootstime.


The last few months Malford Milligan did a Dutch club-tour and sold out more than half the dates. After a short North-American tour, Malford Milligan & The Southern Aces will be performing at a few festivals. This fall Malford Milligan will go on tour with Johan Derksen.
